Reformed Publications

We were very concerned that some of our beloved reformed classic books and devotionals are out of print or need revising and have several initiatives for this effort. We have partnered with Reformation Heritage Books, provided income to the authors of the new 1689 Commentary, and assisted in the promotion of several books from Rob Ventura.

Testimonials:

"What a joy it has been for Reformation Heritage Books to partner with The Five Solas Foundation in affordably bringing back to life the classic double devotional of Morning and Evening Exercises by William Jay of Bath. Such antiquarian projects are not ordinarily commercially viable without financial assistance, and yet the deep and rich material it presents has and will undoubtably benefit many for years to come. We look forward to developing this relationship further."

"Over the years, working with the Five Solas Foundation has been a complete joy. Their love for Christ and the advancement of His gospel has been utterly remarkable. Their wisdom, skill, and, most importantly, heart for the things of God are exceptional. This wonderful organization has helped our church financially with various book-writing projects, advertisements, and promotions. I thank God for them and am greatly indebted to their services."

Do we really need a process for Philanthropy?

Job Descriptions; Why are They Important?

You may be thinking that everyone knows what a Pastor does, or that the other officers know what they are responsible for, so why do I need to write a job description? There are several reasons to consider; identifying talents and strengths for each of the officers will make it clear who may be best suited for a responsibility or project.

Camera Spotlight on Pastor’s Suiting

Prior to my Financial Advisory Career, I was a Fashion Coordinator for an upscale men’s and women’s clothing company. One of the most important aspects of outfitting the client was in tailoring the appropriate suit. I am mentioning this as most of the sermons that you will be preaching are on the web and up front and very close.

Salary Consulting for Pastors: Importance of Cost of Living Adjustments

In my interviews with Pastors, one of the more difficult conversations is the importance of adjusting the salary of the Pastor(s) and/or Staff with a Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA). Instead of having to visit this annually, the method can be approved once and then the process followed on an annual basis unless an extraordinary event occurs which may require an adjustment.
