Who We Are
Business Profile
Throughout my 35-year career as a Financial Advisor, I earned the Certified Financial Planner®, Certified Investment Management Analyst®, and Chartered Retirement Plan Consultant® designations. Three years ago, after a blessed career, I chose to work part time and founded The Five Solas Foundation. The Lord has used my extensive experience in financial consulting, estate, retirement, and tax planning, and nonprofit board service to equip me to offer every service of The Five Solas Foundation at no cost to you.
Our Start
My husband and I have been members of Grace Community Baptist Church in North Providence, RI, for 40 years. We are grateful to Pastor Sherwood Becker, now with the Lord, and to Pastor Rob Ventura, Pastor Jack Buckley, and Pastor Victor Claudio, who continued his encouragement to use my skills and expertise. Our church leadership identified a need for guidance in determining appropriate financial support for pastors, determining appropriate retirement plan contributions to address current and future income needs, and providing other administrative and organizational assistance. The leadership invited me to consult with them. This work helped improve operations and efficiency in several ways, freeing more time for their most important work for the Lord and His people.
Rationale
Our churches operate independently, yet many face similar administrative challenges. Addressing these issues takes time, and busy pastors may find it difficult to give organizational tasks the detailed attention they require. We formed The Five Solas Foundation to address a variety of needs facing Reformed churches, offering consultation, solutions, administrative support, and grants at no expense to Reformed pastors and related organizations. After prayerful consideration, we established The Five Solas Foundation as a 501(c)(3) organization, with sincere hearts and a willingness to give our time and expertise. We structured the organization so that we cannot accept donations. We recognize that all our wisdom and talents come from the Lord. Please let us know how The Five Solas Foundation can help you.
